Should I tell my mom what my dad told me before he died 18yrs ago?

a few months before my dad died he told me when my mom found out she was pregnant he wanted her to have a abortion. He said that secret had been eating at him and he want to tell me so he could apologize. I was 15 at the time. i told him it was ok and i wasnt mad about it. But for some reason it has always stuck with me since he told me in 1995. my parents split in 89, from 89-95 my dad stuggled with alcohal abuse and being homeless. His family had told me that towards the end of his life he was diagnosed with being schizophrenic. So i dont know if it what he told me was true or the sickness. I'm just scared how she'll react. When i went to visit his side of the family a yr ago they told me a secret about his dad, i told my mom and she blow her top. she was so mad. cause my dad had told her the secret when they 1st got married but he never wanted us kids to know about it. So im scared she'll get even more pissed off cause it actually has to do with me. Geez family secrets huh!?!?
