Is this a good enough opening statement for a defense attorney?please help me edit it too. thank you.?
say big and scary "looking" person. not scary peron. then its like saying he IS scary. the line "So like this case, you have not seen this case really doesnt make any sense. the whole thing is a bit too long and ppl might actually get bored and not listen at all! you dont have to give a whole childhood ysis and tell what he did and how he was back then and the moving out stuff. it seems irrelavent. just make his background short and sweet. you dont need to say its not necesary now to give evidence now. just say you will give it later. that is, the latter part of the sentence is enough.you can say please find the defendant innocent! you just cant in a court case. you can give the evidence and after that you can say that according to the evidence, you now can see that the defendant is innocent.so now you can say after seeing the evidence I will prove that the defendant is innocent or "you will find the defendat innocent after seeing the evidence". asking them to think he is innocent now is not logical. dont mind bad spelling if there is any. lol.
