What bike should I Buy?

I am looking for a touring bike for my wife and I and every new bike I look at the more confused I am. I bought a Ducati 848 EVO and after 600 km I am selling it at a loss. I am looking at the Harley Road King, the Triumph America, the Triumph Tiger. I am new to biking and want to make many trips with my wife and looking for a bike we can enjoy together. I purchased a 200 cc scrambler and am commuting to work every day to get much needed experience in the saddle.
