I'm guessing that by looking at the lyrics, the guy is talking to his ex, maybe on the phone but they're talking, and they seem to remember the good old days...and so the guy is asking if he wants to continue the good days and make some new memories. The person he's talking to seems to be worried or more anxious than they're used to be, because they're reaching for their keys, but they really don't want to leave.
