Fluocinonide cream for allergies...?

My dermatologist prescribed this cream for an allergy that I presumably received from dying my hair (I guess I spun my wheels for a month thinking I had cellulitis after two doctors claimed I did; I guess that explains why the two antibiotics and antibiotic cream I was prescribed had absolutely no effect). I'm just wondering, has anyone else used this cream for an allergy? Did it help with calming it down? The itching and weeping has been driving me absolutely insane, and I'd love to actually see this calm down.
